Nanotechnology evidence discovered in Keezhadi - Tamilnadu
Keezhadi excavation is something that never fails to astonish people all around the world. Things and findings excavated from Kheezhadi have a turnover in Archeology and recently one such element identified in Keezhadi is expected to bring a revolution in modern science.
Kheezadi excavation has started for years. And recently archeologists have found a new element. On 21st November 2020 India's leading newspaper has released an article on this excavation and they have stated that archeologists have unearthed a unique black coated pot and on testing the black coating it was found out to be carbon nanotube material.
A carbon Nanotube is a nanoparticle that plays an important role in nanotechnology. It is too smaller in size.
Recently it is being used in various researches. It plays a major role in the construction of Electronic devices, energy storage, optics, space vehicles and it is also used in therapeutic treatments like cancer, aids, tissue engineering, drug delivery, biosensors, immunoassays, etc.
This Carbon nanotube was first discovered by Sumio Iijima, a Japanese Physicist in 1991. But the dating of the pot excavated from Keezhadi was about 600 BC. Which is about 2600 years before the modern Carbon Nanotube.
We received various comments from researchers, scientists, and professors regarding this excavation.
Some scientists state that the people of those times may not have intentionally added CNTs, instead, during the processing at high temperatures, these would have just formed accidentally and we could justify it only if we get the technology used for this Carbon Nanotube production.
Many shreds of evidence of nanotechnology and nanomaterials have been found in various places during archaeological excavations. But the CNT found in Keezhadi is the oldest ever discovered.
If we could know the origin and production method of Carbon nanotubes we could understand and work on many scientific events and descriptions mentioned in our ancient scriptures and books. This can further help in scientific advancement and research. This will also help us decode the space science, aircraft, nuclear weapons, therapeutic treatments mentioned in our scriptures which will further help our present generations' scientific research.
